class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"theme-tc-heading\">The GPTF only funds projects that comply and meet its objectives as stipulated in Act 7 of 1997. Additionally, the GPTF has its own criteria governing what it wishes to consider funding. Applicants to the GPTF need to be made up of non-profit organizations, from small community groups such as conservancies to larger ones such as the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. The allocation of funds is based on priorities determined by the Board on an annual basis, and is centered on the principle of:<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cf330fe elementor-icon-list--layout-traditional elementor-list-item-link-full_width elementor-widget elementor-widget-icon-list\" data-id=\"cf330fe\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"icon-list.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"elementor-icon-list-items\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\" flaticon-right-arrow-2\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">Returning funds to areas of origin of the wildlife products;<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\" flaticon-right-arrow-2\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">Supporting measures aimed at improving the relationship between people and wildlife;<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\" flaticon-right-arrow-2\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">Supporting improvements in the monitoring, management, protection, sustainable use, and development of wildlife resources in rural areas; and<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\" flaticon-right-arrow-2\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">Striking a balance between the allocation of funds for rural development and for wildlife resource monitoring, conservation, and protection.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-284962b elementor-widget elementor-widget-theme_tc_heading\" data-id=\"284962b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"theme_tc_heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"theme-tc-heading\">The GPTF supports wildlife conservation and community conservation and developmental programs aimed at harmonizing the coexistence of people and wildlife. When considering applications, the GPTF looks for evidence of improvement of human-wildlife relationships, inclusivity and need, local community involvement, and sustainability.
